Jet Airways Enhances Connectivity Into Europe

Mumbai,April 17,2009: Jet Airways,India’s premier international airline,has expanded its code-share agreement with Brussels Airlines to add the European cities of Marseille,Toulouse,Geneva and Vienna to its existing international network.Additionally current services on the Brussels-Lyon sector have been enhanced from three to six flights weekly.

With this agreement, Jet Airways will further enhance connectivity between India and Europe by offering travellers convenient and  seamless connections between Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai in India, and twelve  European code-share destinations, including Birmingham, Barcelona, Lyon, Madrid, Berlin, Paris Charles De Gaulle, Manchester, Hamburg, Marseille  Toulouse, Geneva and Vienna via Jet Airways’ European hub in Brussels. Jet Airways also offers European travellers unmatched pan-India connectivity with a 45-destination strong domestic network.

Jet Airways flies daily to Brussels from the three Indian gateway cities of Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai. In addition, the airline also offers daily, direct services to London from Mumbai and Delhi.

According to Mr. Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, CEO, Jet Airways, “Besides widening Jet Airways’ presence in the European market, the code-share agreement with Brussels Airlines has enabled both airlines to leverage each other’s network strengths and service quality to significantly boost air travel on the Indo-European sector.”

Jet Airways Expands Codeshare Agreement With Brussels Airlines To Include Paris & Manchester

September 22,2008: Jet Airways has expanded its existing codeshare agreement with Brussels Airlines to include Paris and Manchester (effective October 26, 2008),via the airline’s European hub in Brussels.

Manchester is Jet Airways’ second codeshare destination in the UK, after Birmingham, in addition to the airline’s direct, daily services to London from Mumbai, Delhi and Amritsar in India.

With this codeshare expansion, Jet Airways now offers its passengers seamless connectivity between Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai in India and Birmingham, Madrid, Barcelona, Lyon, Berlin Tempelhof, Paris and Manchester, via Brussels, through its codeshare agreement with Brussels Airlines.

The airline flies daily to Brussels from three gateway points in India: Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.

JET AIRWAYS EXPANDS CODESHARE PACT WITH BRUSSELS AIRLINES

December 04, 2007: Jet Airways, India’s premier airline, is pleased to announce an expansion of its partnership with Brussels Airlines, offering seamless travel to Jet Airways’ valued customers from India to Birmingham and Madrid via its hub in Brussels.

Effective December 06, 2007, the codeshare arrangement, which is currently applicable on Jet Airways operated flights from Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai to Brussels, will be extended to connecting Brussels Airlines operated services to Birmingham and Madrid.

This codeshare partnership will be expanded shortly to other European cities, such as Paris, Lyon, Vienna, and Berlin via Jet Airways hub in Brussels.
