Jet Airways To Introduce New Daily Service On The Hyderabad–Dubai Sector

Mumbai, July 13, 2009: Effective August 16, 2009, Jet Airways will launch services to Dubai from Hyderabad, its fifth daily service to the Gulf city and second from Southern India.The airline will commence services on the route aboard a state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Jet Airways currently operates twice daily services to Dubai from Mumbai, and daily services from Delhi and Chennai.

Effective August 16, 2009 to October 24, 2009, and from March 28, 2010 to October 30, 2010, flight 9W 550 will depart Hyderabad at 0840 hrs, arriving in Dubai at 1100 hrs. Flight 9W 549 will then depart Dubai at 1200 hrs, arriving in Hyderabad at 1710 hrs.*

Effective October 25, 2009 to March 27, 2010, flight 9W 550 will depart Hyderabad at 0840 hrs, arriving in Dubai at 1120 hrs. Flight 9W 549 will then depart Dubai at 1220 hrs, arriving in Hyderabad at 1710 hrs.*

Mumbai,July 13, 2009: Jet Airways its new all-economy service Jet Airways Konnect, and Jet Airways’ all-economy subsidiary, JetLite, have introduced special 5-day base apex fares between INR 150-900* on several key routes across India.

These special fares are applicable only on flights departing between 1230 hrs to 1630 hrs and 2030 hrs to 0700 hrs on sectors indicated below, and are available for sale with immediate effect from 13th July 2009 to 27th July 2009.

Travel on these fares is however is open till 31st March 2010.

Jet Airways, Jet Airways Konnect and JetLite offer a special base fare of INR 150* on routes including the Srinagar-Jammu, Guwahati-Imphal, Bhubaneshwar-Kolkata, Delhi-Lucknow, Indore-Mumbai, Kochi-Hyderabad, Kolkata-Dibrugarh and Mumbai-Raipur sectors, among others.

On routes including the Mumbai-Chennai, Delhi-Mumbai/Pune, Kolkata-Hyderabad, Hyderabad-Delhi and Delhi-Kolkata sectors, the airlines offer a special base of INR 400*.

On the Guwahati-Delhi, Mumbai-Kolkata, Bengaluru/Chennai-Delhi and Delhi-Kochi sector,the airline will offer a special base fare of INR 900*.

Jet Airways Launches Its Inaugral Mumbai-Jeddah Daily Service,Its First Flight To Saudi Arabia

Mumbai,July 14,2009: Jet Airways,India’s premier international airline,today launched its services to Saudi Arabia with the introduction of its daily service from Mumbai to Jeddah.The airline marked the occasion with the customary inaugural ceremony at the Mumbai International Airport.

Jet Airways will operate its maiden flight on the sector aboard a state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Flight 9W 522 will depart Mumbai at 2135 hrs,and will arrive in Jeddah at 0001 hrs.Flight 9W 521 will depart Jeddah at 0100 hrs,and will arrive in Mumbai at 0835 hrs.

With the introduction of its services to Saudi Arabia,Jet Airways now flies to 7 cities in the Gulf,including Kuwait,Bahrain,Muscat,Doha,Dubai,Abu Dhabi and Jeddah.

Jeddah is Saudi Arabia’s second largest city,as well as a commercial hub.It also holds great religious significance,as the principal gateway to Mecca,Islam’s holiest city.

Mumbai,July 09,2009: In response to growing customer demand,Jet Airways will introduce its second daily service to Bangkok from Mumbai aboard its state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft, effective August 16,2009.

The airline currently operates a daily service to Bangkok from Mumbai, as well as from Delhi and Kolkata.

Effective August 16, 2009, flight 9W 68 will depart Mumbai at 1305 hrs, arriving in Bangkok at 1855 hrs. Flight 9W 67 will then depart Bangkok at 2055 hrs, arriving in Mumbai at 2340 hrs.

Financial results of Jet Lite for the Q4 and year ended March 2009:

· Achieved seat factor of 69.1% in Q4 FY09 versus 69.5% for Q4 FY08.
 
· Achieved Revenues of Rs.3,340 million (US $ 65.9 million) v/s 3,874 million (US $ 96.6) for Q4 FY 2008.

· EBITDAR of Rs.165 million (US$ 3.3 million) in Q4 FY09 versus negative Rs. 832 Million (US$ 20.7 million) in Q4 FY08 and positive Rs. 509 million (US$ 10.5 million) in Q3 FY09.

· EBITDAR Margin at 5.3% in Q4 FY09 vs negative 21.8% in Q4 FY08 and positive 12% in Q3 FY09.

· Loss after tax of Rs. 1,316 million (US $ 25.9 million) v/s Rs. 1,633 million (US $ 40.7 million) for Q4 FY’08.

Jet Airways Inflight Collection Drive For Five NGO’s Working On Women’s Issues

Mumbai, May 22, 2009:- As part of its ‘Celebrating Womanhood’ initiative, Jet Airways had embarked on an  in-flight collection drive for five Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) working on a range of women’s issues including health, education and empowerment, from March 1-March 8, 2009.
